Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Tomorrow will be an interesting day and Sandra starts her physio, she will try to sit up And our goal is to be able to get some fresh air outside sometime this weekend I'm learning as we go, this won't be a short term journey we have months to watch the swelling go down And see the results we have before us Trusting God to see us through Mike

  1. Mike and Sandra,
Just a quick note to say that I hope and pray that the first session of physio goes well and that you are able to meet your goal to get outside for some fresh air this weekend. Also know that you are both in my prayers as well as your families.

  2. Hi Mike, Carla... what a day for me to become aware of this twist in your journey. (Ironically, Jill and I just saw Glen at an ice cream shop in the Glebe a few days ago; didn't get to chat, but we were thinking about Liz; you guys have been through a lot as a family...) Peace and blessings to you Mike, & happy anniversary (hope you were cheering for the Devils; and by the way don't sweat the typo's!). Will keep Sandra and your girls very much in our prayers; and love to all the family, esp. your parents Carla. Miss you guys and all the love at the Met; God be with you.

  3. Mike and Sandra,

Just a note to say Bruno and I are praying for you. We were encouraged by you before and even more so now as we see from the outside how you are walking through this trial with God together. Our prayer is for healing and strength and also that God would be seen in your joy and perseverance in trial. Amen for the glory He has already received.

And congrats on 20 years marriage. Wow! What a blessing.

We'll be here cheering you on throughout this entire journey. Know you are loved.
    Katie and Bruno
