Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

  1. Hi Mike,
I just recently heard of Sandra's accident when my husband was at Dr. Leo's office for his dental appt. I can't tell you how shocked I was to hear of it~ I always think of Sandra as the girl with the biggest smile and truest laugh of all the girls in our dental program. Please tell her I'm thinking of her daily and pray for her every night, hoping that her healing is coming along and that you and the girls are managing. It may be a few years since we've seen you, but please call me if you need anything. I'm off work right now because I had hip replacement surgery in May (the day after Sandra's accident, actually), so I'm always available, even if she just needs someone to sit and laugh with. Love to all, Claire (and Brian, Jake, Payton and Brynn) xox 592-0499 ANYTIME
