Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

I don't know if you remember Sandra, as I drove into church on Sunday, we shared a wave and I thought to myself Sandra looks great, she is my inspiration. Throughout this week, as I have been praying and thinking about you, I thought about how true that statement has become. I know you have been so kind, gentle (lol, not always) and loving to us, as little girls, young ladies and now grown adults. But you & Mike, your family and especially your parents have always shown us love and strength that could only come through our heavenly father. I am so thankful for that.
    Love and hugs,
one of your many adopted little sisters/brats(as you would tenderly and loving put it)
Lorna (Dave, Nate and even little Audrey are praying for you daily!)

  3. Mike, Sandra & family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you guys during these difficult days. I was thinking the other day when I heard it was your anniversary, that your wedding was the first wedding I ever saw at the MET. As beautiful as your wedding was, I would have to say that your love for one another has only grown stronger and more beautiful over the years. I so appreciate the many times I've been a guest in your home and the many cups of coffee I've had the privilege of sharing with you over the years. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you - maybe a coffee run? :o) Thank you both for continuing to be examples of what a Christian should look like - especially in the midst of the hard stuff. Trusting God with you for Sandra's complete healing! Kim

  4. Mike, Sandra and girls, and to all the Williams family ~
I was so shocked when Dave Shepherd told me about Sandra's accident. Mike, you probably don't know me, but I spent many over-nights with Carla at the Williams home when they lived in Carp/Stittsville. Sandra was just a 'little princess' then.
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this storm of life that you are facing. We know God has a plan and a path for Sandra, the right ones, and that He is the Almighty Healer.
    Blessings,
    Debbie (Davis) Blackburn
