Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Met with surgeon

Met with Dr Agbi this afternoon, he is the surgeon who did the work on Sandra. He was happy with the results, even though it was long and complicated. He confirmed that Sandra would have to wear her neck brace for 6 weeks at that time she will have a follow up with him. Please continue to pray for strength, balance and stamina as physio is very exhausting for her but she is determined to push through. Also for continued progress, and the swelling will go down so she can work towards a complete recovery. We see miracles daily as she is on the road to recovery!! Mike

Your family and your desire for God's will in your lives is beautiful- I just want to hug you all! In the meantime may you feel His strong hold on your family. 4. Sandra, Michael and I are praying for you and your speedy recovery. As I read the postings today I am reminded of one of my fav Scripture memory verses - Ezra 10:4 "Arise! For this matter (following your PT's instructions) is your responsiblity, but we will be with you (in our prayers); be courageous and act". Our God is the God of strength, balance and stamina and He will give you ALL you need. Trust Him, Lean on Him, He is a Great Big Awesome God.
    We continue to pray,

I believe in miracles, Mike! The Lord blessed us with a miraculous recovery 7 years ago after my 3rd son suffered a brain injury and paralysis on his righ side; hit by an out-of-control, adult skier at Camp Fortune who fled the scene. Brennan was 11 at the time. He made a full recovery, graduated grade 12, with the only lasting residual being very minor memory recall. Brennan, too, was determined...just like Sandra...and that makes a huge difference in recovery. GOD IS GOOD!!
