Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

The inmate gets a day pass

Well we have lots of tests complete. It is now confirmed Sandra's injury is "not complete" which is a good sign. From what I have been told an incomplete injury has a SMALL chance of restoration where as a compete injury has zero possibility of restoration. So we are left with waiting, praying and trusting for Sandra's full recovery. the next 3 months are big as the swelling should go down but it also can take upto 18 months to have the full story. As we stated earlier this is going to be a long Journey. Sandra's day's are much different here then at the trauma unit. They want her to fend for herself and get her own food, etc.... She has to get herself ready and make her various appointments on her own so this is an adjustment. This extra work is tiring for her in the early stages but should get easier as we go along On a brighter side Sandra did get a day pass to go home for a while tomorrow. Not sure yet the timing but it will be great to have her home and spend some time together as a family Mike

  1. Wow, that's awesome Mike! She must be pretty excited - as I'm sure all of you are! Will remember to pray specifically for the trip there and back and for the quiet family time as you enjoy each other in comfortable, familiar surroundings! Praising God for His incredible blessings and for your steadfast dependency on Him - what an amazing reminder to us who are watching that there is NOTHING greater than trusting God.
