Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Fun times

Last night Sandra was wanting some different clothes at rehab ( imagine she didn't want to go with my choices) So there she was at the bottom of the stairs giving me directions on what cloths she wanted, I wasn't doing too well with the descriptions she was giving me so finally I just pulled the drawer out of the dresser and brought it down to her. Just a little obstacle we have to overcome. I think I will delegate this job to Emily in the future. Sandra plans to spend most of this weekend at home and is looking forward to Sunday afternoon with some visitors. Please continue to pray for her compete healing, her shoulder and what our next steps will be in regards to future rehab. Have a good night, Mike

  1. Mike, thanks so much for these updates, this one made me laugh, I could picture it. Hope you all have a great weekend.

    Love & prayers,

  2. LOL - I can picture it Mike. Good decision to bring the whole drawer down. :) Surprising she didn't want your clothing choices... Not! Praying everyday for healing and thinking of you all throughout each day. So glad you get to spend time at home this weekend Sandra. What the gym is for your physical rehab, home and family and friends are for your heart's rehab.
    big hugs,

  5. I would have liked to see Sandra's face when you came down the stairs with a whole drawer of clothes! You two certainly haven't lost your sense of humour and I pray that God will continue to lift your spirits as you look to Him for your every need. And we will continue to do our part in sharing your burdens and victories....Irene

  6. This is just too funny, bringing down the drawer. Thanks for the laugh.
I will be praying for you Sandra, that you have a wonderful weekend at home, and that all goes well today with your visitors.
Hope to get to see you soon myself, maybe over the next couple of weeks. Be blessed knowing that you are in the heart and the arms of the Master.
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord,"Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"
