Hebrews 12:1-3
Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

ThInking back to 18 months ago
I was just thinking back to 18 months ago, Sandra and Dr Kamel made a friendly wager for who can lose the most body fat over 1year. Sorry Dr K to post this but she blew you away. Note to all don't mess with Sandra's competative side. Through all of this she lost 75lbs and now has some "guns". I can only think that this was a Huge step in her recovery that started 18 months ago.
Heading to the hospital soon and will update how the new wheels go

That is so beautiful how God had her prepare her body ... I am so happy that you can see God in all of this! We continue to pray! Love in Christ, Darlene Fast
ReplyDeleteI was also pondering that fact Mike...and thinking too about how much more severe her injuries may have been with that extra weight riding with her. It is so amazing to see the divine thread through all of this! Good luck today!
ReplyDeleteGod knows the plans He has for us; and He will always provide. Thank you for reminding us all to rejoice always! We hold up every day, and every step of your journey to Him. Praying Sandra can enjoy some sunshine with you soon.
