Hebrews 12:1-3
Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

ReplyDeleteWhoever wants to attend is welcome. I will set up tables so we can pray in groups and then altogether. I know many are praying on their own but this will give us a chance to corporately pray and petition for a full recovery. Hope to see you tonight.

ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteGreg and I would love to be there tonight. However, Greg is out of the country and I therefore need to be home with our kids. Know that we are praying for Sandra, you, Julia and Emily. Our kids and I will have a prayer time at home, (again!), this evening. Blessings, as you trust the Lord and walk with Him, the Great Physician.

Mike and Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI was not able to come to the prayer time tonight, but the kids and I prayed for Sandra and for all of you at home. We will continue to do so several times as day.
With all our love,
Margo
