Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Doing well
Just got an update, still in OR, and operating should get out around midnight.

Praying. Praying for all of you, praying for strength, praying for the doctors, praying for recovery and healing, praying for support and love from others to get you through this time.
We are praying for you all. I am out of town this week and am so thankful for your blog. As soon as I could get on the internet tonight I went to find out if there was an update on Sandra. we love you guys and will be praying with you for the long haul. Trusting our Lord for a complete healing.
I've been thinking about Sandra and your family and praying all day (as I did house cleaning and laundry). May God bless the hands of the surgeons as they use their gifts and training. Praying for a miracle in Jesus' name.
May you all feel God's peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait!
