Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

On the Road Again!

We had a amazing day yesterday at home. Just being around the kids, friends and family feels so good.  It's difficult for Sandra to get around to different places right now. She needs ramps to be able to get into places and other paraphernalia but we are heading to the Martins this afternoon for some lunch they happen to have a ramp so it will be nice to catch up.
I was thinking of Sandra's amazing progress this morning and thought about her 40 minutes to get ready, there probably is a few men that would be happy with 40 minutes for their wives to get ready. She is learning new skills everyday to make her life easier. We continue to beg to God for complete healing as this is our hearts desire, praying also  for patience, persiverance and progress in healing.
Our schedule is forever changing but this is what this week looks like. Tuesday and Thursday stay at the rehab and the other days come home.
We are so blessed with so many great friends that have been asking to visit. If you wanted to this Tuesday's and Thursdays would be great from 3-8pm (505 Smyth rd). Another option is to come to our house Sunday June 17th between 1pm-7pm. I will be having an open house, I would like to keep for those who haven't had a chance to visit with us yet. Since I am domestically challenged don't expect much just a good time of fun and fellowship.
Mike

  2. Sandra, you are an amazing woman. Seeing all that you have accomplished in the last few weeks is incredible!! We continue to pray for complete healing for you as well.
I came across this saying last night while I was reading some devotionals..."To have faith is to believe the task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us."
We know God is able to do abundantly more than we can ask or imagine. May God continue to give you strength each day.

  5. Mike and Sandra,
Can't come to the open house but would be nice to see how Mike meets the domestic challenge with food. Sending our love and continuing to pray for complete recovery for Sandra. Read a good devotional today from Rick Warren about God delaying to answerer our prayer but never denying to answer. Love, Len and Eldean
