Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

New Room

Sandra's private suite has been taken. Normally you get it for 72 hours when you check into the rehab but she was able to hang on to it for a week and a 1/2. She is now in a semi private room with another lady who seams very nice. Prayerfully, Sandra will be able to share her faith and the hope that we have in Jesus with her. We are still thankful for this as the other option is in the ward with 4 beds to a room. It has been wonderful to be back home in the evenings but hard to take her back at night. With some more progression we are hopeful for some overnight stays and eventually an outpatient status. Please continue to pray for her shoulder, overall strength and complete healing. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers Mike

  1. Dear Sandra and Mike,
It has been such a blessing to me to see your faith in action during this time. Since highschoolers you two have been a godly example to me and I so appreciate all that you have poured into my life over the years. I'm so encouraged by the two of you. I know that God is using you both in a very powerful way and I pray that you will continue to be strengthened in Him each day. I continue to pray for you both and your beautiful girls. Love in Christ, Allison Hoffmann

  2. Dear Sandra: We spent the weekend at John and Jeannie's cottage with five couples. Went kayaking with Wilma. Our prayer is that you too may soon spend some time at this beautiful area with your family. You are such an inspiration to so many.
