Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Great day, little progress

We had a great time catching up with friends and family today, the outpouring of love has been amazing. I have learned alot about the spine in the last 5 weeks, with all my research I'm still confused. I had a Doctor say to me, the brain and spine are 2 things that make me consider this all counld not be a result of a big bang. We were able to share a little that we know there is a Creator. We are seeing slight changes to some of Sandra's feelings, that the doctors feel is typical( but they never give a glimmer of hope) but we are taking as progress and a positive sign. She has always felt the cold, some pressure and twitching in her legs. When Sandra was in the trauma unit at the civic they did some tests that showed some reflex response in her toes, this week when we do the same test and I stress we, not the doctors she has response up into her thigh. What this means we have no idea but what I do know is it is different then before. Please pray that these are positive signs, healing is taking place and these reflex responses will be the start of voluntary movement in the legs. Have a great evening Mike

  3. So glad and encouraged to hear even the slightest signs that God is working in her body towards healing. When I presented my prayer request for her healing at church yesterday morning, someone mentioned that it took him 2 years before he could walk again after breaking his 7th vertebra. So our prayers are for patience and surrender to God's purposes, and for the miracle of total healing no matter how long it takes! Our God is an amazing, awesome God! Love to all of you from Aunt Carolyn
