Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Home this week

We are staying home this week to get the girls settled in to the school routine. They are all ready, and we are too. Last week Sandra had an additional physio at home and this week she will have two more. We are excited to get another set of eyes looking at Sandra's progress, we do find a large difference in her core which enables her to do much more in the day to day things.
We continue to have good days and also hard hours, missing how life was. Looking forward to continued progress.

  1. We just want you to know that we pray for you every day. We always look forward to your blog and rejoice with you in the praises and pray harder in the struggles. We love you! xoxo

  2. It was great to see you at church this week and I was so happy to have a few minutes to say hello. We continue to pray for each of you especially with the girls returning to school and adjustments to the new routine that takes on. We pray for continued progress for you Sandra as well as complete healing, and perserverance for Mike. We are trusting in His wisdom each day as He knows the bigger plan.

  3. I seem to have been thinking about you a lot today, so thought I would just say hello. Do hope all is going well with your week at home, and the girls are settling in again into their school routine.
Please keep looking ahead, following in the footsteps of Jesus. Allow him to carry you both when the hard hours come, and allow us all who love you to pray you into God's heart every day.

    Love and blessings always....Val.
