Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

She did it!!!

Well Sandra did it, transferred to the car. Before we started this journey I assumed a van would be the best to get in and out of but a car (dodge charger)is the right height compared to her chair. I think a Hemi might help her too in the future. Theses transfers are typically done once a patient has been in rehab for 6 weeks and It has only been 1 week in. She is doing so well, continue to pray for healing and the pain in her shoulder will subside. Mike

  1. Sandra, Mike and Girls, I have been thinking of you and praying for you constantly and so glad to hear of your progress and determination. Your faith is amazing and God is so good! You go girl!!

Also, I must admit, I was not familiar with how to leave you a message and kept forgetting to ask my daughters. So glad your sister wrote out instructions for those of us who are unfamiliar with the process.

I think Mike is right a Dodge Charger (my fav car) with the hemi should be your choice. LOL!

I'm very happy for you that you have so many wonderful people surrounding you in the medical field and the wonderful family and friends that you have to be near to you and your family. I think of the verse that tells us that God never gives us more than we can handle. I have recalled that many times in my own life. He is so good and I am so thankful that we have Him in our lives.

Wishing you continued success in all you do. I know that good comes to those who wait upon the Lord.

  4. This is Fantastic, Congratulations! Sandra, I want you on my team if there is ever any goofy game happening. So glad to hear of this victory today. You must feel encouraged as you regain some of the freedoms and independence-lots to hope for and work towards. In the bible it mentions that God's blessings and mercies are new every morning-I wonder what tomorrow holds for you...All His Best! Celebrating with you and cheering you on, Anne
