Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Surgery Date!

Well look at that I don’t have to wait too long. I received a call today from Dr. Chow’s office and I am booked for my surgery on June 26th.  I feel with the amount of physio and bike riding I’m doing, my body is going into this surgery a lot stronger. I am hoping and praying that I will be able to bounce back from this one a lot faster. I’m not sure as to how long my surgery will be it will all depend on what he ends up doing once he is in there. Nor do I know how long I will be in the hospital or if I will need to go to the rehabilitation center again. This will all be determined on what exactly Dr. Chow will do once he is in surgery.    Please continue to pray that God will heal me completely.
Big Hug Sandra

  1. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 Lord we continue to believe in your promises. Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. Romans 4:20–21 Is in your word that we trust which says that you are the same yesterday, today and forever. Lord I believe that you can touch Sandra and heal her completely. Lord I pray that you will release your healing touch and bring Sandra to walk again. In Jesus name I pray. cbonhomme

  3. Hello precious friend - thank you for the updates. We praise God that you feel stronger from all the exercise, and that the date is set for your surgery together with your pre-med tomorrow. You will be my prayers, as like so many others who love you, we are on this journey with you.
Continuing to ask our Lord for complete healing. For His guidance and strength, and for the day that all in heaven and on earth will celebrate the miracle that will be seen when you walk again.
In God we trust, our Redeemer, Healer and King.....love and prayers always...Val.

  4. Hi Sandra.

I rejoice with you that God came through with a new surgery date just a few weeks away. I am continually in awe of His goodness. It is good to be able to rest totally in Him knowing His ways are perfect.

Indeed, it is hard to wait. I don't believe any of us are born with patience.

One peek at a Bible concordance reveals over 100 verses on wait, waiting & waited . Patience, patient & patiently mentioned some 50 times.

I have marked your surgery date on my day timer & will be praying then & right now & of course for your complete recovery.

I love the words of Psalm 40: 1-3

" I waited patiently for the LORD to help me,and He turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what He has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the LORD."

with a BIG hug of encouragement for you,

    love, Dixie

  6. So glad your surgery is scheduled for June 26th - the sooner the better! It's so good to see how disciplined you are about training your body to the best of your ability. If attitude determines outcome, you could certainly count on great success...but what's even more crucial is to expect healing from the Great Physician. We stand with you as you draw your daily strength from Him, Irene and Charles
