Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Made it to church

Well it took us 8weeks but we made it to church today, not even late! It was great to be back, one more step back to normality. Things went very smoothly. This week we will continue to make plans for alternative rehab possibilities. Things are starting to come together and we are excited about that. Sandra is starting to feel more comfortable at home, we continue to live learn and adjust to try to make things easier for both of us. Mike

  1. Watching you come in to church today was a beautiful sight! I hope that you both were inspired by Arvind and his message. Certainly your testimony is one of growing upward and reaching outward during even this most challenging time - all for God's glory.

You are precious and dearly loved!

  2. I spent time with your sponsor child today. She is so shy and so beautiful. Julia sent me pictures, which I gave to Ana. In the one of you and Mike, you were standing. I cannot wait to see that again. Ana said very little. But in the end she pulled Pastor Luis over because she wanted to send you a message. She said, thanks you so much, and may God bless you. Then she said "keep pressing on". (yes, I cried...And cry when I tell people!) So from your sponsor child in Guatemala, keep pressing on my friend.

And from me.... Love you sooooo much.

  4. I was overjoyed to see you all with us praising God & being challenged from His Word.
As I was saying I post your blog site & pic on my facebook wall regularly to share your journey with my friends. I just want to take every opportunity to share the reality of a good & gracious God in the midst of difficult circumstances.

Thanks for sharing your absolute trust in Him & joy & endurance He gives you all.
