Hebrews 12:1-3

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Better news

Well yes last week was a difficult week, we always go hoping and praying for new gains, but they aren't always there. It was pointed out to me that we should be looking at more then the assessments, maybe look at real world improvements and yes Sandra has had a lot of improvements over the last few months. Mostly core improvements as she doesn't have to support herself with her arms when driving on an on ramp, and just transferring into her van, bed etc... Are all much improved, Yesterday I went with Sandra to her actupuncture appointment, it appears she is having more light touch feelings on her lower back. This is always hard to judge but improvements seam to be happening. Friday we are heading out of town away from the snow. Please pray for safe travels and our condo is as accessible as they say it is( always makes us a little nervous)Have a great spring break!! Mike

  1. Joseph received promises from God in two dreams. As powerful as this revelation was, Joseph spent the next 13 years living the exact opposite of what he had been promised...betrayal, slavery, false accusation, abandonment, imprisonment... But because Joseph positioned his heart to believe God and to continue to stand on His promises, after 13 years of seeming failure, God used every bit of suffering he endured to catapult him into fulfillment. Keep trusting and having faith that Jesus will answer your prayers. He is faithful to His word and promises. cbonhomme

  2. I am finally writing something on your blog again. I read it always and my prayers are constant, but just thought that I have to say 'hello' and to echo what was written in the above comment. So true, so beautifully written as words of 'total' encouragement, and relevant as a reminder for your journey. Joseph didn't give up, but I'm sure he had his bad days....but his faith sustained him, and God finally fulfilled all his desires. Keep holding on precious friend, his timing is not our timing. We are all still here, those of us who pray without ceasing, and we are also still here loving you through.
Do hope the vacation went well...love always....Val.
